RealSimple, PLEASE help me organize my hobby/craft room:
Here’s the thing, if I could pare my creativity down to fit into a few boxes and bins, I wouldn’t have the garage-sized clutter that is my craft room. But, it seems that creativity knows no limits. It certainly can’t be limited to a few dozen supplies. I mean, where's the fun in taht? However, my delight in collecting fun little supplies that I *might* use someday is completely overtaking my creative energy. See the catch twenty-two? I need the variety to *spark* creativity, but the variety is consuming me like kudzu.
The HUGE challenge is that I don’t want to get rid of stuff. I just want to learn how to organize it so that I still have space to create.
I took the first photo a YEAR ago (the one with the blue walls) then, my sweet and patient husband tried to help me by painting the room and building more shelves. But, as you can see in the photo with the brown walls, I think it’s messier than ever.
Can you help me?
